The court will frame the charges against the accused persons on October 18. Ariyil Abdul Shukoor was held hostage by a group and murdered in broad daylight in Kannapuram in Kannur on February 20, 2012. On Sept 22, Modi will attend a diaspora event at Nassau Coliseum in New York. Arrangements for this event has been made privately, so there is no clarity on who all will be invited.
