According to CBI sources, the suspects, identified as Dassehru Singh, a Station Fire Officer, and Kamleshwar, a leading fireman, were reportedly demanding bribe for issuing a fire no-objection certificate (NOC) for a commercial building. The complainant contacted the CBI, leading to a trap that resulted in the arrest of both the suspects. MAN ARRESTED UNDER ARMS ACT Chandigarh: The city police have arrested a 38-year-old Ram Darbar resident under the Arms Act for possessing a knife. Accused Raj Kumar alias Gabbar was arrested from near 3BRD turn, Phase-I, Ram Darbar. The police said the accused had a criminal past with six cases registered against him at Sector 31 police station.
