Dear Readers,
Technology is supposed to make our lives easier. Isn’t it? Well, the answer is ‘yes’ in most cases, but you cannot rely on it completely. Why, you ask? It’s because it looks for ways to embarrass you when you least expect it. Just yesterday I had my hands full with some work, so I thought about using the ‘voice to text’ feature of a messaging interface.
I said, “Hey Siri’, “Send message”, “Hey Viney, I am using voice to text for the first time! Have you tried it too? Message me back.”
And my reliable assistant sends,
“Hey Honey, I am using voice to text for the first-time exclamation mark. Did YouTube question mark. Mileage me back.”
No wonder I did not get a reply!
Enjoy the edition!
