I always loved celebrating April Fools’ Day. Whether the prank was as simple as “Look, there’s a lizard behind you!” or as elaborate as making chalk powder kaju katli for my friends and water colour Rooh Afza (and stopping them from eating / drinking just in time), April Fools pranks were always fun.
When we were children, sense of humour was not limited to one’s family. Newspapers used to publish news that were untrue, and challenge readers to find the April Fools’ news items. So, on April 1, we would open the newspaper enthusiastically, looking for April Fool’s day news and having a good laugh over them. We have plugged some April Fools’ news items in today’s edition. Can you find them?
