One of the oldest and perhaps the most versatile garment, the saree, has grown to become not only
an aesthetic and attractive all-time wear for women,
but they are also a canvas for weavers and printers to
create artistic weaves, prints, and embellishments.
While almost every state in the Indian subcontinent is known for its own weave, there are various  well-known ones, that are more easily accessible. This week’s Feature takes a look at a handful of these weaves.
