The great Indian festive season is here once again and India's biggest holiday of the year, Diwali, will be here soon - followed by Christmas and then, the New Year! It is time for celebrations! I love the way the country comes alive with festivities, the sounds of poojas and firecrackers, fairy lights accompanied by colourful flowers, clothes and other finery, delicious mithais and festive foods, and not to forget the aromas of burning incense. It also indicates the start of winter season and cooler weather all around. After two plus years of The Sindhian being released in the digital version only, we decided that it was time again to finally re-start printing the hard copy for our readers. We have been receiving hundreds of emails requesting us to bring out the hard copy, and here we are, back in print! We hope that you will enjoy the experience as much as before, and support our endeavor by subscribing to the magazine in large numbers. With this issue, we bring to you the cover story of a gentleman - Bihari Kandhari who built a real estate behemoth, the B Kandhari Group in Mumbai, and who has a 40-year legacy that’s built on perseverance, patience and persistence.
