The cover story this week talks about Doklam plateau, a dangerous area at the trijunction of India, China and Bhutan. The feature describes how the Chinese before 1962 didn't show any interest in the area, but post the India-China war, tried imposing territorial claims on the plateau. The Doklam plateau is focused on a small pastureland in Bhutan that holds great strategic importance for both India and China.

A special package on Ken-Betwa river link talks about the people's movement against the project currently taking root in Panna. According to the KBRL project, a dam has been proposed at Daudhan under Ken-Betwa river link which is risking the lives of many farmers. As the dam comes up, water availability in Panna district will be compromised. It will also damage critical tiger breeding habitat of 61 sq. km area.

There is a special package on the controversial film Lipstick Under My Burkha, which has been in the news for its 'progressive' content, and the issues the filmmakers faced for its certification. The film is finally out with a certification in the cinemas and marks a great victory for the filmmakers.
