Highlights of India Today Telugu issue dated September 9th, 2014. The issue carried "The Big Push" as the cover story, written by Amarnath K Menon which said that Chandrababu Naidu, while "Presiding over a cash strapped state, has developed several mission mode plans and a long term vision in raising the collective hopes of the people of his state even as he pushes with the central government to accord his state special status and grant several special incentives." Two more stories from the region - "Target Telangana" and "Marketing Telangana" were also carried. "Pulp Express", a special story on the literary trend started by Chetan Bhagat was also carried in this issue. Two obits, paying tributes to Attenborough and Anantamurti, were also carried in this issue. Regular columns like "National Interest" by Shekhar Gupta, "Eye Catchers", "News Notes"and "Cine Bits" were also carried.
