It’s a big gamble the Congress is taking, trying to alter caste equations in the state. It won’t be easy for party and Channi to go for elections.  Even before he took oath, party general secretary Harish Rawat flubbed his lines and said the Congress would fight the assembly poll.

AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal astonished other political parties in Uttarakhand by announcing its election manifesto. Kejriwal announced that if party forms government in the state it will give job to every family, until job not given it will give Rs.5000 as unemployment allowance, 80 percent jobs within state will be reserved for locals.
