Description of IMAGES Business of Fashion concept note In the October 2013 issue of IMAGES Business of Fashion, the cover story focuses on winterwear clothing. With the onset of Autumn/Winter big brands like Monte Carlo, Ahujasons, Woodland, Rookotina and Duke have revealed winter collection for men's, women's and kid's apparel. The story also contains critical description about the seasonal variations and time-bound winter in India which is the most significant factor affecting the season bound apparel and footwear brands. Most domestic, regional and international brands take winters in India as a very serious business opportunity, due to the concentration of festivals around this period. The Market Watch segment gives an insight into the fashion accessories that is flourishing in the country. Thanks to the unaffordable price hike of precious metals, the discerning are completing their trendy look by adding a fancy pair of sunglasses or watch to their otherwise immaculate attire. In the Brand Focus segment, Kulbhushan Ahuja, Managing Director of Ahujasons talks about the latest winter collection revealed by the brand and his mantra for success. While Gopal Bathijia, owner of Padamshri Exclusive, a fashion brand outlet of Monte Carlo share his views over the market and art of handling the season bound business including the risk associated with it in the Retailer Profile segment.
