Dear readers It’s certified- I tend to forget things. My life is riddled with embarrassing moments when I forgot my role on a few occasions. Once I lit the inaugural lamp which was supposed to be lit by my principal on teacher’s day. I was meant to escort him to do that, but I forgot my role and did it instead. You can only imagine who was laughing and who was praying that she became invisible. Once I forgot that my spindly little Scooty also has a feature called brakes. Don’t worry, the maximum speed it could go to was 30 kmph, and that too after a good service and proper oiling. People could walk beside me while I attempted to drive it at a fast speed. When I didn’t put brakes, I bumped into a standing rickshaw and the impact made me shift and sit in the part where one usually puts the feet. Mind you, I was still holding the handle, and was working my legs just like a pedal in a boat. In due time I remembered to put brakes. I got up to find the entire market laughing and clapping at my little stunt. Strangely, I felt quite proud. Which brings me to what I forgot now. Looking at my previous record, I am sure you will find it in your heart to let go of anger and forgive me when I tell you that I forgot my two-year anniversary with you. I completed 2 fabulous, beautiful, and inspiring years with you on 7th May. I hope it was as spectacular for you as for me. Although, if it makes you feel any better, I forgot my one-year anniversary with you too. Wait, I take it back. I don’t think it’s the right thing to say now. Enjoy the edition Priyanka
