Dear Readers, While writing about the trees of the Gods, I began to think of another kind of tree, a magical tree, which you must be familiar with. Any guesses? Yes, I am talking about Jack’s Beanstalk. The magical tree that reached the sky. Have you ever thought about what the beanstalk might have looked like? Was it a thin creeper, or a strong sturdy tree? Did it have branches that could take you to different cities or did its stem bend to circle the earth before it reached the sky? Were the leaves big enough to cover all the oceans? Was there an entirely different world living on the tree, on its branches, in various kinds of tree houses. How would the beings travel from one tree house to another? Did they have a special flower vehicle or did they use leaves to fly. What kind of dresses would they wear, made of flower petals, leaves, or bark? Don’t you want to live in a magical world like that. Would you believe me if I tell you that you can? All you need is a sunny day and plenty of imagination. Dream your dream and then bring it to life in your medium of expression. Let it be in the form of a poem, story, drawing, etc. and share it with us. We would love to feature it.
