About this issue

Dear Readers   How about a story!   “Oh no!”, Tanvi suddenly exclaimed and ran to her laptop. She had forgotten her mom’s birthday. She had thought of writing her a poem but now she was out of time and she hadn’t even started. “What to do? Nothing is coming to mind now. How about I search for a good birthday message on the search engine”. She searched and finally found a good poem on mom by some renowned poet. “I can never write as good as this. How about I just write this one for mom. I am sure she will like it”. But while writing the poem, she started to feel guilty, “This is not me. These are not my thoughts. These words don’t resonate what I feel about my mom”. With this thought in mind she wrote- Dear Mom, You are the best mom in the world and here is why – ·      You make the best pancakes. ·      You mix medicines with ice cream when I am sick. ·      You don’t stay angry with me once I kiss you. ·      You love the A’s in my report card as much as my B’s and C’s. ·      You always play with my dolls when I ask you to. I love you mom! Happy Birthday!   Tanvi’s mom loved the card. She was also super impressed with her daughter’s writing skills.   Enjoy the edition Priyanka Priyankasingh2006@gmail.com
