This period, between the last issue and this one, has been intimidating yet inspiring... intimidating because of the fear it has brought about, and inspiring because it has taught people new values about all that is necessary and so much that really isn’t. The world will never be the same again. Time will tell if this period of confinement for humanity brought about a paradigm shift. Hopefully, mankind will learn to respect life in all forms, and remember that they are not as invincible as once imagined. While we had to skip the April-June 2020 issue due to the lockdown, we’re here now, back in the running, with this July-September issue. And as for our current subscribers, validity of their subscriptions will be extended by one issue to compensate for the one that we skipped. We hope that our cover this time around, a tribute to this pause in our lives, encourages you to take a step back and re-evaluate what really matters and reflect on what your new normal will look like going forward. In the pages that follow, you will find stories of entrepreneurial success from Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad, as well as Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, and Jakarta. We also spoke to a few home chefs to bring you recipes from kitchens around the world, for a change. In the meanwhile, I hope that you are contemplating on these strange new times, staying home, and staying safe.
