Our Design Issue is celebrating and applauding the History Makers of the Design World be it craft and textile designers MP & Aditi Ranjan or graphic designer Itu Chowdhary or ceramic artist Haku Shah or the founder of Dastkar Laila Tyabji. All the profiles featured are pioneers of the design industry and they all are elevating Indian - home grown design through various mediums. Along with the history makers we also have the young, extremely talented and emerging bunch of designers from various different genres of design that are the ones to watch out for. And in between the two worlds of emerging and masters we have a very artistic and extremely creative duo Thukral & Tagra that have extended their artistic sensibility and branched out to various genres of design be it product, production or industrial. Moving away from the world of design we feature the very talented Shahid Kapoor who once again transforms himself for the most anticipated Shakespearean inspired film Haider. Boman Irani shares snippets from his life in our quick Q&A segment and award winning, Pulitzer Prize recipient Ayad Akhtar talks about life, books, plays and more... And lastly to add more glamour and design to the already existing content our issue ends with a very stylized fashion shoot that merges design and art.
