About this issue

The August issue of evo India has one of the most spectacular stories we’ve ever executed yet. We’ve taken the first Ferrari 488 Pista in the country to the Rann of Kutch. Taking a special edition track car from Ferrari to somewhere like the Rann of Kutch was outlandish, but it makes for some spectacular photos — the aridness of the Rann against the glistening red of a special edition Ferrari. That isn’t the only Ferrari in this issue though: FERRARI 812 SUPERFAST: Does the Ferrari 812 Superfast live up to its name? FERRARI GT3 & CHALLENGE: Is the Ferrari 488 Pista too tame for you?   MG HECTOR V RIVALS The Hector’s aggressive pricing puts it up against the Harrier and Creta   AUDI E-TRON: Audi’s first electric car is heading to India this year    PORSCHE CAYMAN GT4: The 718 finally gets a six-cylinder engine!   KIA SELTOS PROTOTYPE: A prototype of the upcoming Seltos SUV driven at a test track   LOTUS EVIJA: Lotus’ first product after Geely took over, the Evija is an all-electric hyper car with stratospheric numbers and an equally stratospheric price tag.   MERCEDES-BENZ V-CLASS: The cover story of this issue needed an equally epic support car TOYOTA YARIS: What stands out about the Toyota Yaris? Its design!   HYUNDAI KONA ELECTRIC: India’s first long-range electric car is here! RENAULT DUSTER: On an epic adventure up to the highest ski slopes in India! TESLA MODEL 3 PERFORMANCE:With crazy acceleration and solid dynamics, can it hold its own against the BMW M3? HYUNDAI VENUE:We take the Hyundai Venue around town, looking for some of the best coffee we can get our hands on. PORSCHE 917: On its 50th anniversary, we were given the privilege to drive one up Goodwood   TRIUMPH STREET SCRAMBLER: Triumph’s baby Scrambler gets an upgrade with more power and a dedicated off-road mode XPULSE V IMPULSE:The Xpulse is the spiritual successor to the Impulse. But how far ahead has it moved the game? BMW S 1000 RR: BMW Motorrad’s litre-class monster at the Buddh International Circuit
