In this issue of Shopping Centre News, we are presenting a report on India's largest malls, it is an update on Asipac's 2010 study carried in June 2010 edition of Shopping Centre News. These rankings are based on the Gross Leasable area (GLA) of the malls. Phoenix Market City Kurla, Mumbai, has emerged as the largest operational mall as of June 201, with a GLA of 1,150,000 sq ft, followed by the newly opened Lulu Centre at Kochi. Mantri Square, Bangalore, which was the numero uno in 2010, has moved to the fifth position. Ambience Mall at Gurgaon is the largest mall in North India, while South City Mall at Kolkata is the largest in Eastern India.
