Gone are the days when the ‘brick and mortar’ approach in retail would have helped a retailer to gain a significant market share, and make fair profits. Nowadays, unless and until we don’t have a ‘virtual presence’we can’t think of having an edge over other retailers in any respect. Be it making revenue or having a better brand equity a good distribution strategy while managing the SCM can be thought of only if we use the IT resources effectively
