In an increasingly flat world, culture and its impact on human behaviour has generated substantial research. Globalisation has emerged as a driving force for people to develop Cultural Intelligence (CI) in ever increasing culturally diverse workplace. In the present paper, we discussed the construct of CI and research on the cross-cultural issues as elaborated in terms of individual level. The role of innovation and personality traits was discussed as a viable vehicle of acculturation model proposed by Hofstede.
