Entrepreneurs are, by definition, pioneers in that it is the process of creating something new with the value by devoting necessary time and effort, assuming the accompanying financial, psychic and social risks and receiving the resulting rewards of monetary and personal satisfaction and independence. Dramatic changes in the global environment suggest that successful entrepreneurs must master strategies and skills to withstand the competitive environment. This study aims at studying why some entrepreneurs are more successful while others are not, by focusing on their key social skills and impression management ability. This article the discusses pioneering strategies and offers an understanding as to what strategies and skills are most useful in determining the success of entrepreneurs.
