Amrita Devi was a brave Bisnoi women from Rajasthan India. She gave supreme sacrifice by offering her life but did not allow the soldiers to touch any tree of her forest. She is historically taken as the first eco warrior of India and probably the world. The massacre that followed after her death has few parallels in history. The story takes the reader into why she and her community put such stiff resistance to the king and preferred death over destruction of their forest.
