Hi there, Reader! There is a great scene at the end of my favourite children’s book, The Twits, where the Roly-Poly Bird and the Muggle-Wumps use a strong glue to stick Mr. & Mrs. Twit’s furniture to the ceiling to make them believe that the ceiling is in fact the floor. The cruel Mr. & Mrs. Twit are tricked into thinking that they are upside down and that they must now glue their feet to the floor (actually the ceiling) in order to stay right-side up! I won’t tell you more (because you should read the book) but suffice to say that the Twits get what they deserve. But what if the world were to really go topsy-turvy, upside-down and wrong-side up? You would study for four months and vacation for eight; you’d eat junk for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and snack on dal and rice; you’d wear your uniform to go to play and your play clothes to school! Actually, I’m not sure you’d even have school, because in the really topsy-turvy world, you’d be the adults and your parents would be the kids! This is exactly the kind of crazy, wacko stuff you will see in this issue of Tinkle Digest. Imagine-the Tinkle world has gone topsy-turvy, and nothing is like you know it.
