This compendium of essays, lectures and addresses of the author highlights the trend of progressive development of International Law and its codification in response to the changing needs and the challenges of the phenomenon of globalization of human society which is marching towards One World. The author underlines the new methods and ways of progressive adaptation of the contemporary law and its codification, illustratively in specific areas only. Attention has been drawn to enunciation of the new concepts in the Law of the Sea, Law of Treaties, expanding State Responsibility, and the Aerial Law. The problems pertaining to the relevance of the Law of War in the situation of armed conflicts as well as of the effectiveness of the World Court have been critically examined.
