This collection of poetry chiefly revolves around the theme of wanderlust. In an attempt to contain an impressionistic view of the mountains, the city-scapes, and the myriad cultures, it channels the complete detachment from the world that accompanies a soul while travelling.The poems are a documentation of days spent in Kashmir, North Bengal, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Lucknow, Rajasthan and Calcutta. Many are written from memory, too.The goal is to portray the universality of travel, of rail-tracks that run through all religions and creeds, of mountains that are impartial to country borders.It strives to be for everyone, and reach out to anyonewho has a peregrine fibre in their soul, from young, adventurous travellers to seasoned trekkers looking for a retreat.
