Sherlock Holmes takes on to solve another mystery when Dr. James Mortimer asks Holmes for assistance after his friend Sir Charles Baskerville was found dead in the park near his manor. It was believed that the death was due to a heart attack, but according to Mortimer, Sir Charles's face had an expression of horror, and not far from the corpse the footprints of a gigantic hound were visible.
