So armed with knowledge of all the diagnostic and management options available, the reader can decide the most suitable treatment for the patient, keeping their best interests in mind. About the Authors Charu Mittal Graduate and postgraduate from Medical College and M.S. University, Baroda. She has been a gold medalist in MBBS. She has passed DNB examination in 1999 and has worked as an Assistant Professor in her alma mater from 2000 to 2006. She is a Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences and the Indian College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She has been invited as faculty in various conferences and has also presented many scientific papers being awarded for best paper in 2002. She also has many publications to her credit including a book on “Emergencies in Obstetrics and Gynecology”. Her areas of interest are High Risk Obstetrics and Infertility. She is dedicated to teaching and is also devoted to womens health. Her main goal is to help in reducing maternal mortality through safer obstetric services.
