Set in India during the late 1990's, five young women break free from a prison in Punjab and are chased through out the country. After 9 months of incarceration Rani, Jags, Bilo, Preeti and Gulab seize the opportunity to break from their cage and run as fast and far as they can. They never imagined that one day, they would be marked 'wanted' by the State of Punjab. Nor did they ever think that they would become bandits/con-artists who steal from the corrupt and occasionally, give to the poor. One thing is guaranteed, the girls do not miss a chance to rustle up a scrumptious curry (Punjabi Chicken curry recipe is included).
