Gandhiji said that he was neither a philosopher nor a ideologist. He himself said that he did not want to impose any philosophy or idea that would be considered as a liability. It was the experience of life, truth and non-violence through which he solved all sorts of problems. It seems to me that he was a practical ideologist and a true devotee of ‘karma’. That is why in comparison to other leaders Gandhiji is nearer to the Indian culture and people’s heart.
