Amrita Devi was a brave Bisnoi women from Rajasthan India. She gave supreme sacrifice by offering her life but did not allow the soldiers to touch any tree of her forest. She is historically taken as the first eco warrior of India and probably the world. The massacre that followed after her death has few parallels in history.
