Unmaad’ is a collection of short stories written by Kamla Chaudhary. Picking characters from society, each of her tales narrated the situation of pre-independence period. Her stories used to revolve around women, their struggle and the various problems they used to face in their daily life. The stories written by her in the book were completed within two years. The book is compiled with 11 stories which were critically acclaimed by various authors and artistes or artists. Renowned writers Munshi Premchand and Banarasidas Chaturvedi had written the preface and prologue for the book.
