An Imperfect Set is a work of fiction which takes place in Mehsana. It is written on the basis of my and my friends’ experiences in arranged marriage. It is story of Rahil, a corporate professional living in Mehsana with his family. Rahil is unable to move on from his college romance and accept that it wasn’t meant to be. He gets married to Diya in an arranged marriage setting after meeting her a few times. They get thrown into an unlikely situation together. This story is about their journey in finding out who they are and if they make it work.
