The preferences for news reading differ from person to person depending on their interests, likes and dislikes. Some may be interested in the entertainment world and some are always hunting for science and technology updates. With the plethora of news feeds flashing every single day from multiple categories, it becomes a hideous task for the user to filter out his preferences. To serve as a permanent solution for this issue, we have developed the ‘My Feed’ feature for all the native apps. This feature will help in customizing all the news categories that the user wishes to read. One has to simply select the specific news category from the android or iOS device that they wish to follow and ignore the rest that they are not interested in.
The user will get only the news updates for the selected categories in his ‘My Feed’ section as the personalized feed. Along with this, if the user further focuses on some selective categories more than the rest in the ‘My Feed’ section, those specific categories will be considered as the prefered categories. For example, a user selects Sports, Entertainment and Politics for the My Feed’ section and further reads more from the Politics section, then the same will be considered as their preference. This feature turns out to be extremely useful for the users in staying updated about all the updates related to their interests and avoid the rest in an easy and time-saving manner.
