Highlights of India Today 17th April 2017, issue:  The India Today cover story of the week is about a Bengaluru-based start-up which is competing with four international teams for a 20-million prize to land a rover on the moon. If TeamIndus wins, they will become the first private enterprise in the world to build and land a spacecraft and have a rover ride the surface of the moon. The lunar rover is called Ek Chhoti Si Asha ECA. The big story in this weeks issue is about Supreme Courts December 15, 2016, verdict banning liquor sale within 500 metres of national and state highways. The story looks at how, in the aftermath of the court’s order, state governments are now desperate to find loopholes and exemptions that will protect the liquor trade and their excise revenue.
