Highlights of India Today Malayalam issue dated September 10th, 2014. The issue was Onam special issue with a bouquet of special stories. The issue covered many a story on survivals despite the barriers raised by class, caste, gender and religion. The life stories of three men- Shamsuddin, the street magician who is the lone practioner of The Great Indian Mango Tree magic; Gemini Shankaran- the man behind Jumbo and Gemini circuses that thrilled generations and Abubacker- renowned tabla artist who has performed with artistes like M S Baburaj- have added color to the entire package. Outside the Onam package was a detailed profile of pulp king Chetan Bhagat. The issue also featured faces like Mia, Vikram and Kankana Raunat in its eyecatcher page.
