Our cover story depicts Ar. Alkesh Gangwal from Aurangabad, a city of rich cultural heritage. A conversation with him made me wonder about various issues regarding the sorry state of some of India’s heritage sites. India has made a remarkable presence on the global map as a major tourist destination. We are proud Indians; it is high time to open up our minds and think what we have to off er to the tourists. We pompously chant the mantra ‘Athithi Devo Bhava’, but do not stop a while to think… are our guests offered with right facilities during their stay.
