In the October issue, the cover story Making TPPs Sustainable, looked at how the new Ministry of Environment and Forests and Climate Change MoEFCC norms impose huge costs on power generators, even as they are necessary for the country in the emerging global ecosystem. It explores why the government should thus play a balancing act in this direction.
