To be honest, it is almost next to impossible for a tech-savvy user—like you and me—to get through a day without using a smartphone—maybe just because we are somehow dependent on certain productivity and utility apps to get our things done. But, at the same time, it is now crucial to take steps to find a balance with technology. With that in mind, the tech giant Google recently introduced six helpful Digital Wellbeing experimental apps. Each experiment centers around a different behaviour, offering small ways to help improve your digital wellbeing and find a balance with technology that feels right for you.   For example, Unlock Clock app displays the number of times you unlock your phone in a day. We Flip app helps families and friends disconnect from technology together by simultaneously flipping a big switch, setting their phones to “Do Not Disturb” mode. And, the app called Desert Island helps you to find focus by spending a day only using your essential apps. Check out our Cover Story to know about all these apps in detail and why you should try them once.     Pushing its plans to make the internet more accessible, inclusive and empowering for everyone in India, Google recently held the fifth edition of its annual ‘Google for India’ event. At the event, Google announced its partnership with BSNL to bring fast, reliable and secure public Wi-Fi to villages in Gujarat, Bihar and Maharashtra. In addition, Google announced the launch of Vodafone-Idea Phone Line—supported by the Google Assistant—to help the hundreds of millions of Indians who use 2G phones get the information they need, without requiring data or an internet connection. That’s not all! Google also announced the launch of Google Research India — an AI research lab in Bengaluru, a brand new ‘Google Pay for Business’ app for merchants, and a  ‘Jobs Spot’ on Google Pay app. This is designed to help job seekers find and prepare for entry-level positions that fit their needs.
