This is the time to bid adieu to 2017 and ring in the New Year 2018 that will bring along new opportunities, new trends, and of course, new apps. According to the Apple App Store editorial team, the trends of 2017 were Augmented Reality, Video-on-Demand apps, Hyper-Casual games, and Convenience apps like Swiggy, Urbanclap, BigBasket and BookMyShow.
Google Play Store also announced the Best of 2017 apps and games across categories like most entertaining, most innovative, best social apps, and best for kids, for example. According to Google Play Store, AI-driven Socratic, which helps children in school homework, is the Best App of 2017, and CATS: Crash Arena Turbo Stars is the Best Game of 2017 for its spellbinding gameplay, glossy graphics, and an impressively intuitive interface.
