The full moon day of the Ashadha month is celebrated as Guru Purnima. This year we celebrate this auspicious occasion on Friday, the 31st of July. Through ages, many great personalities have highlighted the importance of a Guru, but this couplet by Sant Kabir pays the ultimate tribute to a Guru. One should always bow to the Guru before Govind God as it is the Guru who has led him towards God.
