Realizing the gravity of the situation and in line with the vision of enabling socio-economic change, Dainik Bhaskar has started a novel initiative ‘Comics for Change’. The initiative aims to promote responsible consumption of water, electricity and food through creative storytelling. Just as comics vividly illustrate the feats of superheroes in fighting crime and other social ills, ‘Comics for Change’ leverages the power of visual storytelling to amplify awareness about responsible consumption of valuable resources.
‘Sundarvan Adventures’-Waste of Taste is the third comic published in the series. ‘Waste of Taste’ tells the story of a fun loving, energetic school going rabbit-Adi along with his adventurous set of friends including a jovial little Parrot Cheenu, a pretty little Doe-Roli and an intelligent Tortoise –Golu who sensitize the villagers on this issue through a creative skit.
