Each time I embark on a new journey, my uncle has just one piece of advice. A tried and tested terminator of a proverb, Remember, Neel, change is the only constant. Today each syllable, consonant and alphabet in that proverb is ringing in my head. This is to be my last editorial. I am moving on to a slightly larger role in the company, handing over the magazine to Shriya. As you would have noticed, Shriya has been handling the magazine for the last few months. These issues have been absolutely wonderful, and I think I’m leaving the Digest in better hands than mine. I am sure Shriya, Chandni, Savio and you, dear reader, will take this little pocket-sized magazine to dizzying heights. I am excited about my new role and you will soon see the products of our new ventures. But Id also like to acknowledge the slight lump in my throat and the undeniable feeling of melancholy as I write this. The two years that I have spent editing the Digest have been some of the most memorable. The various people that I have worked with, the writers that I have brought on, the ones that have always written for Tinkle, the artists that have now become friends, all of them have been so wonderful in their support of our endeavour. Id also like to thank all the people at Amar Chitra Katha who have worked so hard to get the Digest to you every month.
