Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) is the largest science movement in India national movement dedicated to the integrated development of the nation through the intervention of science, engineering and technology. Launched by a group of thinkers and scientists in the year 1991, VIBHA has today 29 active state units and 6 overseas units with its Head Office located at New Delhi. Eminent scientists, academicians, policy makers and social workers are the torch bearers of this popular science movement. VIBHA has been honored with several awards and recognitions of national and international repute, such as Jawaharlal Nehru Prize, National Award For Science Communication, ‘Honorable mention Award’ and ‘Popular choice Award’ in ‘Crowds Climate Conference 2015' at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA and The Giving Back UBM Award. In the year 2015, Vijnana Bharati(VIBHA) has become the Guinness Book World Record Holder for the successful conduct of the ‘Largest Practical Science Lesson’.
